Outside work has begun again

We have started to in insulate the inside. Chet doing all the work right now. Things have slowed down a bit with the cold weather. But this gives us time to discuss and explore things like wood stoves, composting toilets etc…
Our liittle house is starting to look like something!
The walls are going up!!
Two walls up!! It took just about all day on Monday, the holiday to do the side wall. The next one should go faster. It’s so exciting to see our little house starting to take shape. I know it looks like Chet is doing all the work but that is far from the truth, Camiila painted the deck when she was home the other weekend and I am manning the tablesaw, measuring and cutting. It’s just that I’m the one with the camera.
Just some thoughts
As excited as I am about building our little house and moving on, when I see how beautiful the flowers in my yard are it makes me a little sad I can not take them with me.
